Get to know the Hoʻōla Maui Hui
Get to know the organizations working together as the Hoʻōla Maui hui, led by prime contractor DAWSON, to perform the Hazard Site Assessment scope of work under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
Hoʻōla Maui is a hui of Native Hawaiian Organizations (NHOs) as defined in 13 CFR 124.3, and their partners, committed to the safe, timely, and thorough clean-up and recovery of Kula, Olinda, and Lahaina, following the devastating August wildfires. Bound by a unifying pledge to work as a team, Hoʻōla Maui members are banding together, sharing resources and expertise, and coordinating and collaborating on any cleanup work that is asked of a member of this hui. Along with the NHO members, Ho’ōla Maui is supported by non-NHO business partners with a local presence who are also actively supporting the clean-up effort.

DAWSON
DAWSON is a Native Hawaiian global business enterprise serving the U.S. Department of Defense and federal government clients while benefiting the Native Hawaiian community.
DAWSON was selected by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as the prime contractor for the Hazard Site Assessment component of the debris removal phase of recovery. DAWSON staff are leading project management and overseeing all aspects of the current contract execution.
