Hoʻōla Maui in the News - San Antonio Express-News: Maui native, S.A. cyber exec helping rebuild his homeland after this summer’s devastating wildfires

 

Mahalo nui to San Antonio Express-News for their coverage of Hoʻōla Maui member, Namauu Technological and Industrial’s CEO, Kekai Namauu. The story, released on December 16, 2023 Namauu’s personal connection to Lahaina and his decision to join Hoʻōla Maui and contribute to the clean-up effort.

In the article Namauu shared, “I almost felt like I would feel that other teammates couldn’t do it good enough,” he said. “I’d never be satisfied because it’s my thing.” The story goes on to explain, however, that “his thoughts shifted when a mentor, who’s also a native Hawaiian business owner, told him, “No, it’s not your thing. It’s all of ours.”
